In heavier weights, it provides the power to effortlessly cast large bass bugs or streamers, even into strong winds.
Our Gold Lines remain supple in all conditions, from the coldest mountain streams to the warm waters of the tropics.
Thanks to our specially designed polymer, these lines resist cracking and maintain durability over time. The same polymer also enhances your casting distance, ensuring peak performance when you need it most.
Available in weights WF2F through WF5F, these lines enable you to achieve impressive long-distance casts, whether you’re targeting fish on a vast lake or cutting through the wind on large rivers. From WF6F upwards, the line features a helpful colour transition from khaki green to yellow, making it easy to gauge how much line you’ve got out.
The front taper, inspired by our double taper designs, allows for delicate dry fly presentations, minimising disturbance to wary fish. For the heavier lines (WF5 to WF10), the design delivers the strength needed for big bass bugs, pike flies, and saltwater patterns. Despite their power, the diameter of these heavier lines is kept slim, helping them slice through wind on expansive lakes or ocean flats.
