Competitions
The UK Stillwater Fly Fishing competition scene is a vibrant and inclusive arena that showcases the skill and passion of anglers across the country. In addition to the many competitions ran at a local level by fisheries you can find below a information about the various National and Open Competitions that are held annually as well as some other regional and fishery competitions.
Each country has several National Teams that represent their respective nations, England, Wales, Northern Ireland, and Scotland and each boast a diverse array of teams, including Men’s Teams, Ladies Teams, Disabled Teams, and Youth Teams, fostering a strong sense of community and competition across all levels.
Beyond the national teams, the UK hosts a calendar packed with prestigious open competitions, drawing top anglers and enthusiasts alike.
Renowned events such as the Airflo Open Championships, and the Greys Lochstyle Championship are just a few highlights in a schedule brimming with high-stakes action and camaraderie.
