Burns Trout Fishery

Deep in the heart of Burns Country lies acres of unspoiled land full of character and charm. Tarbolton Loch is located in the peaceful and tranquil setting on the edge of the village of Tarbolton. What better way to take in the beauty of Ayrshire than a days fishing on one of the well stocked lochs.

Depending on the type of fishing prefered we have a choice of 4 Lochs:

Our main Large Loch (Flyfishing only).
The Triangle loch this is for both bait or Flyfishing each activity is restricted to particular banks.
A Smaller Loch this is bait only.
Finally in front of the lodge we have the Large bait pond.
Our lochs are stocked on a weekly basis with Rainbows & Brown trout.

With an average size of 1.5lbs to 2 lbs with a reasonable head of larger fish into double figures. Club and corporate bookings are catered for just give us a call for more information.

Good disabled access to most parts of the lochs
Toilet facilities.
Small lodge that provides warm drinks and snack items.
With ample parking and ease of access this is the ideal fishery.
