Bio
Craigluscar Trout Fishery has been run by the Dunfermline Artisan Angling Club since 1893. It comprises two redundant water-supply reservoirs extending in total to approximately 23 acres. We are situated North of Dunfermline in Fife, just off the A823 (see map further down page).
The middle pond* (squarer of the two ponds) is fly fishing only and is stocked weekly throughout the season with rainbow trout in the region of 2lbs, periodically the water is stocked with heavier rainbows and occasional brown and blue trout (we ask that any brown trout caught be safely returned to the water).
The East pond is bait fishing only and is regularly stocked with the same quality fish as the fly pond. We are open daily from the start of March to the end of October from 9.30 am until dusk. We have a variety of permits for both fly and bait anglers and we also sell flies that are tied by our members using quality hooks and materials.
We used to have three ponds but the West pond was given up many years ago and turned into a nature reserve.
