Raygill Fishing Lakes

Originally a limestone quarry, Raygill was purchased in 1987 and landscaped into the three beautiful lakes which are home to a multitude of wildlife which you can see today. The limestone spring water is known to be nourishing to fish and consequently produces fantastic quality fish.

We offer two course lakes and one fly fishing lake, as well as the Lakeside Cafe and Lakeside Bar. We’ve also recently expanded to include some custom build glamping facilities​

As Raygill is situated on private land, we are only open to customers.
Important note – when travelling to us, please be aware that most satellite navigation (including google and apple maps) is not able to function. Please read the below notes to ensure you don’t get lost!

Travelling from the M65: Pass Matalan/KFC (on your right) and continue straight until you come to the Morris Dancers Pub on your left. At the next roundabout take your 1st left which will be signposted for Lothersdale. Continue for around 2 miles (past the Black Lane Ends Pub) until you go down a long dip. Turn right at the bottom of the dip where you see a sign for Raygill. Stay on this road for around 2 miles (Sat Nav users: don’t go through the red gate!). As you get to the bottom of the hill into the village turn right and follow the lane until you arrive at your destination.

Travelling from Skipton centre: Follow Keighley (A629) signs out of the centre until you pass a TESCO petrol station on your right. At the next lights turn right to Carleton/Lothersdale and follow the signs for Lothersdale. At the crossroads, go straight across and keep going into Lothersdale village. Continue through the village until you come to a steep hill. Turn left before the hill and follow the lane to arrive at your destination.

Travelling from Keighley (Via Bypass): Take 2nd exit the roundabout (Texaco, co-op), up Station Road. At the top, turn right. Continue through and take a right at the roundabout by the police station and climb up out of Crosshills (about 3 miles), then follow Raygill signs. Turn left at the crossroads. Continue through the village until you come to a steep hill. Turn left before the hill and follow the lane to arrive at your destination.
