Blackdyke Trout Fishery

The fishery is in the top 100 small water fisheries in the country.

The fishery has a wheelie boat for disabled anglers to enjoy being out on the water. A few rowing boats are available and float tubers are most welcome.

The lake has an abundance of natural fly life with a good stock of “hard fighting” rainbow trout from 2lb up to 12 lb which respond well to dry flies. There is also a population of brown trout. Situated equidistant between Feltwell and Hockwold-cum-Wilton – both villages boast a couple of pubs, restaurants and convenience stores.
