Monikie AC

The Club provides fly fishing for brown and rainbow trout in two ponds – they’re known as ponds but are huge loch-size stretches of water. The bailiff’s hut (complete with tea, coffee and microwave facilities) is located beside the Island Pond in Monikie Country Park.
We have 18 boats available (12 on the Island, 6 on the North) to members and visitors; including visiting clubs.
During the season boats can be booked by calling the Bailiff hut on 01382 370300 between the hours of 9 & 10.30am, 1 & 1.30 pm and when the evening sessions are open 5 & 6.30pm.
Anglers are welcome to use their own electric outboard motors, but none are available for hire.
Please note it is fly fishing only. No bank fishing is permitted. Please also note that only club boats can be used for angling, and no anchoring is permitted.
Also, anglers must wear lifejackets at all times while on the water. This can be their own provided it is activated by a CO2 device and they have signed our disclaimer form, or a lifejacket provided by the club.
