Rectory Lodge Trout Fishery

At Rectory Lodge everyone can take time out to relax and enjoy the warm and friendly atmosphere. Fishing at Rectory Lodge is also a great day out for staff team building, and also highly recommended as part of employee wellbeing and mental health programs. We welcome all ages, genders, and nationalities. Health and safety is highly regarded and disabled access is to a high standard.

Rectory Lodge is comprised of two lakes, one fly, and one bait; all lakes are restocked weekly with rainbow trout. All our fish are hand reared on site, this alone is a great experience just to watch and greatly enjoyed by all our fishermen & fisherwomen. Rectory Lodge is suitable for both amateur and professional Anglers, both young and old!

We start from hatching rainbow trout eggs and rear them right through to stocking both our fly and bait lakes.

Our Bait Lake is stocked from 1 1/2lb upwards

Our Fly Lake is stocked from 2 1/2lb upwards

We ask that our fish be handled with care and not to be out of the water any longer than necessary if releasing
